Introduction to Meditation

What is it and how it works?

One-hour sessions provide an overview of:

  • Meditation

This class can be tailored to both business and personal environments. Sessions have been delivered as a part of employee wellness programs, group gatherings, and health forums. Can be tailored to accommodate the need of the group.

What is the benefit?

The one-hour Introduction to Meditation offers an opportunity to learn and demystify the elements of meditation. It’s about education. Many students leave the session with a desire to develop a more in-depth meditation practice.

Primordial Sound Meditation

What is it?

Primordial Sound Meditation is a mantra-based meditation technique originating in the ancient wisdom traditions of India, and reintroduced by Drs. Deepak Chopra and David Simon. Primordial sounds – the basic, most essential sounds of nature – are used to disconnect us from the activity of life. These individually selected sounds, known as mantras, are based on the vibration the universe was making the moment of your birth.

Once your Primordial Sound mantra has been determined, you will be taught how to use it on a daily basis to reawaken balance, tranquility, and compassion within. 

How does it work?

As a certified meditation instructor, I work with each student to learn and integrate the mantra into your daily routine.

PSM instruction has four modules:

  • Module 1: Introduces you to the basic principles of meditation, its history, the importance of your mantra. Instruction includes an overview of stress, the role of stress in seeding illness, and how meditation can help mitigate one’s stress levels.
  • Module 2: You’ll receive personal instruction in your Primordial Sound mantra and learn how to use it. You will try meditation for the first time using your Primordial Sound mantra.
  • Module 3: You learn the practical aspects of meditation, share your experience, and practice with the instructor.
  • Module 4: You will attend a lecture about the higher states of consciousness that can be achieved with regular Primordial Sound Meditation practice. Your instructor will share Deepak Chopra’s vision of these higher states.

Integrated Energy Therapy

What is it?

Integrated Energy Therapy® (IET) is a hands-on healing therapy system that “gets the issues out of your tissues”…for good! It is a safe and gentle way of releasing energy blockages that can cause imbalance and disease in the body. IET promotes healing in all areas of our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual selves.

Many people are familiar with another hands-on healing system called “Reiki”.  IET taps into a different, but equally powerful energy system.

How it works:

As life progresses, many of us start to carry the remnants of past hurts, disappointments, and stuff in what I describe as an invisible suitcase. You can’t physically see it, but this load is ever present and weighing you down as you move through life. It might be described as low energy, lacking motivation, lost creativity, my zest for life is missing, etc. Imagine that if your car were running sluggishly, you’d take it in for a tune-up. Well, imagine that your energy field needs a tune-up. That’s what IET provides in that it helps unload the stuff in that invisible suitcase.


IET employs gentle touch to help you safely and gently release limiting energy patterns from your past, empower and balance your life in the present, and embody your full potential as you move into your future.


A typical session is 1 hour and can be administered while sitting or lying on an energy table

On-Site Introduction to Meditation Workshops

The one-hour session is suitable for health and wellness programs in any venue. I’ve led sessions for business and community-based health fairs. I can customize the content to conform to any program focused on self-care.

Meditation has enormous benefits for stress management, which positively impacts productivity, morale, and creativity. I would have a prep session with the program coordinator and customize the program to support your goals.

Forgiveness Workshops

What is it?

This ninety-minute workshop has a lecture and experiential component that leverages the Integrated Energy Therapy Forgiveness Process to help release the binding emotions associated with hurt and shame. Imagine that you walk around with two invisible suitcases with one on the right side of the body and the other on the left. The one on the right side is filled with positive emotions of love, joy, laughter, etc. The one on the right contains the hurts, disappointments, anger or rage that you’ve accumulated over a lifetime. One side is light, and the other side is heavy. That heaviness can impact and take a toll on your life.

The IET Forgiveness process is a technique that is designed to lighten the load through sacred methods.

How does it work?

The discussion is centered on the power of forgiveness, and how the intent can positively impact your life by lightening the emotional load.

The experiential component uses a combination of techniques to open up the possibility of forgiving yourself and those in your past and present.

Who can benefit?

Anyone who is carrying a memory whose recollection elicits a strong reaction and triggers strong negative emotions at the mere mention of the person or incident.

Intuitive Readings

As a student and practitioner of meditation and intuitive development, I have opened myself to where I am able to tap into the energy flow where I can impart the messages that your soul has to support learning and healing. Most sessions last for about one-hour and are more of a conversation with information to help your journey and transformation.
